We cordially invite you to attend the celebration, which will be organized by: the Egyptian Young Organizations Network in cooperation with the Arab Penal Reform Organization in the framework of the Pioneer Defenders Salon and in collaboration with the Arab Human Rights Defenders Union.

Celebration of the Arab human rights movement in general and especially the Egyptian human rights movement, entitled "Celebrating the Silver Jubilee of the Egyptian Human Rights Movement" and that comes on the occasion of the celebration of the Defenders International Day of the 9 of December of each year.

This celebration is an announcement of the start of the first activities celebrating the Egyptian human rights movement and to consider the year 2010 the celebration year on the occasion of the passage of a quarter century on establishing an Egyptian human rights movement founded by the Egyptian Organization established in 1985.  

The celebration witnesses several commemorative events throughout the year from the preparation of special studies on Egyptian human rights movement and the preparation of documentaries and studies on the symbols of the movement, as well as organizations and the evolution of the movement and gains and hopes.

The celebration will take place on Wednesday, December 9 at 5 pm at the Arab Penal Reform Organization 14 Saraya Al Azbakiya St. By Imad Al-Din St., Downtown, Cairo.

Providing a deep insight to the emergence of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the preparatory meetings of the Declaration.

Presentation of a paper on the evolution of the rights contained in the Declaration via the  application and the charters that followed the Declaration and the extent of the need to develop the Universal Declaration to comply with the rights development.
